When it comes to working out, you either go 8 or 80 – training all by yourself or training with a lot (too many) people around you.
Both choices have their pros and cons.

Sure, at first it’s awkward to sweat like a 🐖 in front of someone you don’t know…
… but it gets easier. Funnier. Comfier.
More importantly, it pushes you. To do more & better, to keep going, to not give up. In ways you alone sometimes can’t.

… and, if you choose wisely, your wallet won’t complain either.
Now, you might be thinking:
If I choose to train alone, I won’t spend a single penny.
Well, true. However…
… you might miss out on essential workout details worth spending a penny on.
A proper workout includes warm-up, flexibility and cool-down. When you train alone, you often skip one or two of the above (let’s be honest), because either:
1) you don’t know how to do them, or
2) they aren’t your favorite thing to do.
On the other hand:
PTs ensure you perform a safe and effective workout.
From start to end, head to toe.
If that wasn’t enough, you’ll have a varied, consistent workout schedule – getting lazy or bored no more!
With a PT, you’ll actually seize every second of your time.
With a PT, you’ll go places… quite literally.
You don’t need prior knowledge or experience – PTs train from beginner to advanced, adjusting the training level to yours.
You simply have to show up with a positive attitude and a smile on your face…
… that will eventually disappear and get replaced by pain expressions…
… but will make a reappearance at the end, considering you did it. 👏
They’ll teach you nice, innovative exercises and how to do them correctly – some of which you can’t do on your own.
Oh and don’t think they will let you skip those hellish burpees you usually “forget” about. Sorry not sorry. 😌
Here’s the real deal:
Choosing a PT is choosing a friend.
Who’ll know your weaknesses and strengths and how to work with them.
Who’ll encourage you to engage in healthy behaviors on your daily routine.
Who’ll help you get where you want to be.
They won’t give up on you…
… as long as you don’t give up on them.
If at the end of the day these aren’t solid reasons to get a PT, you might not want to get to the top after all.
